THE PROBLEM

Niyo's web platform had just gone live in late 2024, but rapid growth exposed cracks in the system. Every SEO landing page was being designed independently, leading to inconsistencies in typography, spacing, responsive behaviour and component usage. With the product team requesting new pages every week, the design process became increasingly difficult to scale

WHY WAS IT IMPORTANT

With SEO emerging as a key acquisition channel, the pace of experimentation increased significantly. Every new landing page required repetitive design decisions, additional tech effort and multiple rounds of review to maintain quality. Without a scalable design foundation, speed came at the cost of consistency, making rapid experimentation unsustainable.

THE APPROACH

Rather than continuing to solve individual page requests, the focus shifted to building the system behind the website.

A comprehensive set of web design guidelines was introduced, establishing standards for typography, spacing, responsive behaviour, component usage and min/max layout definitions that had previously been undefined.

To further accelerate delivery, a library of 100+ reusable web templates was created. This enabled design, product, and tech teams to assemble new pages using predefined building blocks instead of creating every experience from scratch.

The result was a repeatable, scalable workflow that significantly reduced execution effort while maintaining a consistent web experience

Within six months, the initiative transformed web into Niyo's fastest design-to-production workflow.

The framework continues to evolve as the website expands. The current focus is on AI-assisted ("vibe coding") website creation, enabling teams to move from ideas to production-ready web experiences with minimal manual effort while maintaining speed, consistency, and quality.
